1. Who we are

Install Buddies LLC ("we", "us") is an installation company in Miami-Dade County, Florida. You buy it, we install it. By booking a job with us, you agree to these terms.

2. What we do, and what we do not do

We install new products you bought: lights, shelves, furniture, audio, smart home devices, accent walls, closets, curtains, and similar installs.

We do not do electrical work, HVAC, plumbing, fencing, roofing, or anything that requires a license. We do not do repairs. If a job turns out to need licensed work, we will stop and tell you straight.

3. Quotes

We give quotes in writing, by text or email. A quote is good for 14 days. Once you accept a quote and we schedule the job, that price is locked in unless the scope of the job changes.

4. Scheduling and cancellations

If you need to cancel or reschedule, give us at least 24 hours notice. If we show up and cannot do the work because the product is not there or the work area is not ready, we may charge a trip fee, which we will quote before coming back out.

5. Payment

Payment is due when the job is done, using the payment methods we confirm when you book. If a payment is not made, we may pause any remaining work until it is resolved.

6. Your part

For the job to go right, you agree to:

  • Have the products on site and unboxed (or tell us if you need us to check them first).
  • Clear the work area so we can get to it.
  • Have an adult (18 or older) present during the job.
  • Tell us about anything hidden in the walls we should know about, like pipes or wiring, if you know it is there.

7. Our workmanship

We stand behind our installs. If something we installed is not right, tell us within 30 days and we will come make it right at no charge.

8. What we are not responsible for

We are careful, but there are limits. We are not responsible for:

  • Damage that was already there before we arrived.
  • Products that arrive broken, defective, or missing parts. That is between you and the store or manufacturer.
  • Damage to your product caused by a manufacturer defect or by instructions we were told to follow.
  • Hidden pipes, wires, or structural problems inside walls that nobody told us about.

The most we will ever owe you for any job is the amount you paid us for that job.

9. Photos

We take before-and-after photos of our work for our records. We will not post photos of your home publicly without your okay.

10. Commercial work

We also install for companies under separate written agreements, including property management companies (luxury and standard) and product dealers and builders, such as lighting dealers like Sunshine Coast Trimlight. When a separate commercial agreement exists, that agreement controls if it differs from these terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by Florida law. Any dispute will be handled in Miami-Dade County, Florida.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted on this page is the one that applies.
